Apply EARLY to secure your spot !!!

The FALL '06 Les Artisans Arts & Crafts Show application can be found on this site.

Fall 2006 Show

This is an information sheet that should contain everything you need to know about the 32nd annual Les Artisans Arts and Crafts Fall 2006 craft show, sponsored by the Bourbonnais Grove Historical Society . . .

Booth sizes have been changed from the smaller 4'x10' and 6'x10' sizes to a more appealing and functional 10'x10' in the gym and 4'x25' in the hallways... all spaces are 100 square feet.

-> This change results in a 'fewer number of booths', and in time, it will be more difficult to get accepted into this show; spaces will be in demand and crafters who hesitate to APPLY EARLY will be left out of the show!

PLEASE NOTE: Since booth spaces have been enlarged, there are ONLY 95” booth spaces available.  If you intend to participate in the November 25, 2006 show, I would HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to APPLY EARLY !!!  If you hesitate, you may not get a space!

PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CAREFULLY AS

CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE !!!

POLICY:    All items must be handcrafted.  Crafters “NEW” to the show must include two (2) photos with application.  Vendors selling items that are not handcrafted will be required to leave.  The Bourbonnais Grove Historical Society and Bradley-Bourbonnais High School are NOT responsible for accidents or lost or stolen items.

FOOD ITEMS:    All food to be merchandised MUST be covered, no exceptions.  A food license IS REQUIRED for all food vendors.  A one-day permit is required through the Kankakee County Health Department.

BOOTH RESERVATION:    You are urged to apply immediately as spaces will fill quickly.  If you participated in the SPRING SHOW, upon receipt of your application, you will IMMEDIATELY be assigned to your Spring Show spot (unless a different spot is requested).

Please read the following paragraph carefully:

»►      The March 25 Spring Show was a VERY LARGE show compared to previous years!  Please be reminded that if you are a Fall (ONLY) show participant, and a SPRING show participant was assigned to your ‘usual space’… if that SPRING show participant applies to the FALL show BY THE DEADLINE, they have claimed that space and WILL BE ASSIGNED TO THE SPACE THEY HAD IN THE SPRING ’06 SHOW whether you occupied that space for the Fall ’05 show or not!!

Applications are due by OCTOBER 28 to guarantee your spot.  (Again, if you do not have your application in by this date, you will NOT be guaranteed a same spot.  Applications received AFTER the deadline will be priced at $45.00 per spot.)

»►NEW POLICY:  Please include a self-addressed, STAMPED (4X9 business-size) envelope to receive a confirmation letter.  You can expect a confirmation letter in the mail shortly after the application deadline, if not before.  ALSO, if you have an e-mail address, please include it on your application.

BOOTH SIZES:    Booth spaces have been ENLARGED and booth space NUMBERS HAVE CHANGED beginning with the Spring ’06 show!  Hence there are fewer booths and spaces will be in HIGH DEMAND.  All booths will be 10’ x 10’ EXCEPT hallway booths which will be 4’ x 25’ (ALL are 100 sq. ft.).  Due to the booth size alteration, spaces are limited.  As a “bonus” to crafters, The Bourbonnais Grove Historical Society has determined that ALL booths will remain at the $40.00 fee for the Spring 2006 AND Fall 2006 show.  Thereafter (Spring 2007), booths will undergo a price increase.

TABLES WILL NOT BE PROVIDED, however two (2) chairs are provided per booth.

Electricity will be available for an additional $7.00 fee.  You MUST bring your own power cords.

REFUND POLICY:    All reservations are non-refundable.

DAY OF SHOW:    Bradley Bourbonnais High School may be accessed after 6:00 a.m. on the day of the event.  Set-up will NOT be allowed until Saturday, November 25 (day of show).  Some of my “helpers” will be floating around to direct you to your numbered booth.  Coffee, rolls, and lunch will be available at the concession stand.  Please park in the rear parking lot of the school to allow spaces for shoppers.  After the show, all persons and items must vacate the building by 4:00 p.m.  Please leave all booth areas clean; vendors MUST remove all of their trash or may not be allowed to return for future shows.

BOY SCOUTS:  Depending on availability, Boy Scouts may be available for help in set-up and take-down stages.
